The concept behind La Péniche (Bed and Bicycle) is ideal for exceptional river stops along the Rhône, on the ViaRhôna, catering to guests who are stopping over or traveling by bike.
The houseboat features five 20-square-meter through-cabins (one of which can accommodate a third person in a single bed on a mezzanine). They occupy the former hold and are located slightly below river level. The large portholes on either side of the bed contribute to the sensation of floating and calm that envelops both body and mind.
Each cabin is equipped with a comfortable bathroom with a shower.
Guests can set up a hammock to fully enjoy the gentle rocking of the water. In complete privacy, guests can enjoy a Nordic bath on the deck or a spa (plus a sauna and massage table, available by reservation) in the lower level.
The winter garden and fully equipped kitchen invite you to savor the moment in the company of other guests. Cyclists can store their bikes in a secure container (with a QR code and surveillance camera) on the dock. This is a smart houseboat featuring QR codes for access to rooms and common areas, high-speed Wi-Fi, and AirPlay systems.
