Every autumn, Annonay transforms into the capital of taste for a weekend. Les Gourmandises d’Ardèche brings together around sixty passionate producers, artisans, and chefs eager to showcase the treasures of their region: cured meats, farmhouse cheeses, jams, chocolates, craft beers, and, of course, wines from the Rhône Valley.

From the “Wine & Beer” fair on Friday evening to culinary demonstrations, children’s workshops, and free tastings, the event offers a wonderful immersion into local expertise.

2. 13ᵉ Wine and Local Produce Market – Savas (Ardèche)

In Savas, conviviality is key! This market, organised by the local events committee, celebrates local producers, artisans, and winemakers from the region—and sometimes beyond. With tastings, direct sales, and gourmet activities, it’s a day dedicated to sharing and discovery.

3. Open Days at Cave de Tain – Tain-l’Hermitage (Drôme)

  • Cave de Tain, Avenue Paul-Durand, Tain-l’Hermitage

The Open Days at Cave de Tain invite visitors to dive into the heart of the wine world. Enjoy an immersive tour of the cellars, and take part in themed tasting workshops — from wine appreciation and food pairings to mixology, cheese, truffles, and even Degusta’Kids sessions for the youngest visitors. A prestige evening for food lovers rounds out a programme full of flavour and discovery.

This year, the event takes on a festive and convivial dimension with the special participation of Cave de Ribeauvillé from Alsace, presenting its crémants, Alsace wines, and grands crus. Visitors can also explore a gourmet market featuring local producers and artisans, offering a delicious selection of regional products and on-site catering.

A complete experience, combining wine discovery, gastronomic delights, and passionate encounters, at the heart of one of the most emblematic sites of the Northern Rhône Valley.

4.Cornas Wine Fair – Cornas (Ardèche)

A true institution for wine enthusiasts, the Cornas Wine Fair returns for its 69th edition. Over three days, around fifty estates will present the great wines of the Northern Rhône Valley: Cornas, Saint-Péray, Saint-Joseph, Condrieu, Crozes-Hermitage, Côte-Rôtie, and Hermitage.

On the programme: tasting workshops led by the Maison des Vins et du Tourisme de Saint-Péray, a torchlit descent through the vineyards on Saturday evening, and a morning walk among the vines on Sunday. Wine professionals are also catered for with a dedicated tasting of the 2014 Cornas vintage.

Gourmet pleasures are also in the spotlight with a pop-up restaurant run by two chefs at lunchtime over the weekend (booking required), and a local producers’ market offering oysters, chocolates, craft beers, ravioles, snails, charcuterie, and many other delicacies.

A true celebration of wine and Northern Rhône terroirs, driven by the passion of the winemakers and the warmth of a festive atmosphere.

5. 102ᵉ Chavanay Wine Fair – Chavanay (Loire)

  • Salle Marcel-Favier and Chavanay village centre

A grand finale to the season, the Chavanay Wine Fair celebrates its 102nd edition in 2025, making it one of the oldest wine fairs in France. More than fifty winemakers will showcase the finest appellations from the northern Côtes du Rhône: Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, Côte-Rôtie, Cornas, and Saint-Péray.

In an atmosphere that is both festive and professional, tastings, direct sales, and lively activities set the pace for this unique weekend, offering visitors an authentic and historic experience in the heart of the Pilat Rhône hills.
