In the northern Rhône Valley, we take our terroirs very seriously, but we refuse to take ourselves too seriously when it comes to letting you taste them. Spoiler alert: we’re going to shake up your habits! From 16 to 18 October 2026, the region is launching the latest edition of Vignobles en Scène (RIP the old ‘Fascinant Week-end’ – make way for the new wave).
Get ready for three action-packed days of celebration. Whether with friends, as a couple or on your own, come and experience wine tourism in a carefree spirit!
Take a deep breath: Next-generation wine tourism
Forget everything you know about traditional wine tasting. We promise you an unadulterated experience, excitement and pure moments of joy. Whether you fancy a relaxing aperitif with your feet in the vineyards or a gourmet river cruise, we’ve got just the thing to spice up your weekend.
On the menu for these one-of-a-kind getaways:
Active adventures: The legendary Côte-Rôtie Trail for climbers, or the 6th Half-Marathon between Tain and Tournon (because we don’t just pray to Saint Joseph – we run alongside him before raising a glass to him!).
Journeys through time: Climb aboard the legendary steam train of the Doux Valley with the Train du Sommelier , or wander through the medieval streets of the hilltop village of Malleval .
A life-size game: Step out of your Hermitage and try our Escape Wine and bottle hunts , or explore our vineyards on an e-bike with the wind in your hair.
A treat for the taste buds: 3 banquets, 3 atmospheres
A good glass of wine without a good meal? Utterly frustrating. This year, the Northern Rhône Valley is rolling out three banquets that are 100 per cent a treat. Raise a glass without any fuss, but with a healthy dose of high standards. Ready to treat your taste buds?

We’re extending the Indian summer with our flagship events, which are back in full force to liven up your days (and evenings):
Rando-Wine:
Immersive, sensory walks through the heart of the vineyards. Did you think you’d seen it all? Wait until you stop for a break to savour a glass of wine overlooking the Rhône. I’m off for a walk through the vineyards.
Winemaker’s Brunches:
The perfect match between lavish Sunday morning feasts and local cuisine. A gem from our region to spruce up your Sunday buffet? We say a resounding YES. I’m having brunch
Wine-Notes:
Intimate concerts for a gentle start to the evening. Jazz, acoustic music, soulful vocals… all enhanced by our wines – a moment to savour to your heart’s content. Book my evening
Revitalising the estates: Partners with character
Throughout the weekend, our iconic wineries, prestigious estates and partner restaurants will be pulling out all the stops (though in trainers). These partner establishments are joining in to extend the experience right onto your plates with special menus and bespoke pairings!
Flower and Wine Workshops, Vineyard aperitifs, sophisticated after-work drinks, gourmet markets or unexpected (mis)pairings with cheese … there are a thousand and one ways to celebrate our local terroirs. And for those who love something refreshing, treat yourself to a relaxing moment with a Saint-Péray!
